I have been doing it for over 8 years now, free tea and coffee samples, shampoos even towels at one stage. But one of my favorites is printed mouse mats with my logo and web address on it. Being an online store means that people see my name on their mouse mat every time they sit at their computer. As a sponsor of Google adwords I believe that if customers know my web address and go straight there, it will save me on keyword clicks.
As a friend once explained to me , It is all about building a better mouse trap. The mouse would not enter the trap if it wasn’t for the cheese.
