Hiring a virtual assistant is a smart thinking, especially for small business and yes, it’s a win win situation. Most of my connections in Business hired VA(s) and also it’s important to be careful in choosing one.

Good question. Most companies of course won’t advertise that they’re outsourcing, but should be honest about it if asked.
All points within the article taken into consideration, it shouldn’t be something that should be hidden but the general public still has negative feelings towards it, because the last time they called up Samsung or Telstra with a problem they probably spoke with an outsourced customer service representative that wasn’t all that helpful.
This type of outsourcing isn’t what the article is talking about, and I don’t really agree with it either.

There are spelling mistakes, a poor use of grammar and a great deal of the punctuation seems to have gone AWOL. That was all before point (1).

Nevertheless, you have every right to hire or exploit, I mean employ, whom ever you see fit. Good luck to you and your profitable, not proficient, business. Well done.

Sometimes you can take on an Intern to set them on the right path. Training is a really important thing for everyone in our society.

There is no way I could afford to pay for Australian based contractors to help me build up my new website and members area for my soon to be launched business.
I have employed some great people from the Philippines for well over a year now and they provide great work and are extremely loyal.
I couldn’t ask for better – and my take on the outsourcing. I pay top level rates for my workers and have drastically improved their standard of living. They all have children who now always have books for school. AND after the huge typhoon, they were able to rebuild the damage quickly because they have funds coming in. (and I pay them to have holidays and sick leave as well!)
