Michelle BowdenMichelle Bowden was born in Sydney in 1971, and grew up in Canberra. With parents dedicated to the success of their children, Michelle always believed she was going to be successful at something. She was a representative netball player, pianist and ballerina, spending many years in the Canberra Youth Ballet Company.

After finishing school, Michelle completed a fine arts degree and management qualification, before heading overseas to Europe to discover the riches of the art she studied at university.

She returned to Sydney and started working with Lend Lease, where she created a training department and worked as a trainer. Three years later, and having completed a graduate certificate in adult education, Michelle left to work as a trainer with NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) actors at Maura Fay Workshops.

At age 26, Michelle married and trekked in Nepal for her honeymoon. After completing further studies – a master’s in adult education – she joined Impact Human Performance Technologies as the senior trainer and relationship manager. During her time at Impact she discovered Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

At 28, with a baby and a huge mortgage, Michelle opened her training business, with AMP as her first client. She is an accredited NLP practitioner and master trainer in presentation and influencing skills. She works with CEOs and their teams to help prepare them for presentations at company meetings, conferences and sales pitches.

She is an energetic, entertaining and challenging presenter and trainer. Her combination of high energy and theoretical rigour results in excellent outcomes for her clients. More recently Michelle has been in demand delivering keynote presentations on the subjects of communication, personal development and understanding people.

Michelle lives on Sydney’s northern beaches with her wonderful, supportive husband, Ian, and their daughters, Holly Somerset, Madeline Grace and Annabelle Rose.
