Systems Thinking: We will be discussing the concepts interdependence and delay and archetypes Tragedy of the Commons and Limits to Growth/Success
Math: Investigation 1: Statistics, collecting and looking at data through line plots and bar graphs
Humanities: autobiographies- mind mapping, rough draft, developing a strong lead, writing with dialogue
Science: designing an investigation with boats and understanding capacity and load
Japanese: Lesson 5 and lessons 1-4 review from text, practice song ue o muite arukou and hiragana song

Homework:
Math: page 21, 1 required, 22-25 extra credit. Due Tuesday, October 13, 2009
Investigation 1 Data About Us: Additional Practice Handout 1-3 required, 4-17 extra credit. Due Thursday, October 15
Humanities: Spelling take home task #4, due Wednesday, October 14, 2009
Japanese:
Hiragana practice sheets 7-8. Prepare for Thursdays quiz by studying a little every day, the first ten columns of the hiragana chart will be tested. All new vocabulary from lesson 5 of our text, plus 10 words from past tests will be included on the quiz.  がんばってね！
