Here’s the first thing, people who perform at a high level are hungry. Who agrees with this? Yes? Dale mentioned that some of the people that our products and programs get promoted alongside with and some of the people that I share the stage with.
A few months ago, Arnold Schwarzenegger was here and people were asking questions to the speakers from the public and asked him, if you had to boil it down to the one difference why you are more successful than others, what would it be? So if we imagine now that I have big muscles, he would answer, I am more hungry. Yeah, that’s what was the answer. And he said, when I wanted to go into the bodybuilding world, I didn’t want to just be good. I wanted to be Mr. Universe. When I went into acting, I wanted to be the number one highest paid actor. So it’s a different sort of thing. People that have a very clear vision, they have passion, and they have drive, cool.
Number two, consistent, constant, consistent improvements. With our customers, we work a lot on optimization, and some of the things that you will discover is that you don’t need to do 1000 things, you only need to work on five things that most of you probably already know that actually the only ones that are going to help to increase your profits. And if you only do small tweaks on those ones, between 2 to 5%, it can increase your profits by 100%. So who would like to drop 995 things and only work on five in the future because they make money? Yeah, cool, so that’s what it’s about , and it’s always about being consistent.
I’ll give you a difference of mindset. Someone who’s performing at the top when they have made a sale, that doesn’t stop there. Most people, they say, “Great, hey, I made a sale.” A person who performs at the top thing, how are we going to increase the lifetime value of this customer? How are we going to get more referrals? Who is the next person we’re going to get? It’s a very different way, it just doesn’t stop. It’s consistent, constant improvement.
Always acquiring customers and revenue. This is the prime focus. Most people don’t think enough about that. Sales, if they’re profitable, they will solve any problem you have in your business. And those guys are always looking for more sales all the time, all the time. And sometimes it can actually get tiring to be around them, because they go, “Hey, are you ever gonna stop?” And they say, “No.”
So absolute focus, laser focus, one thing at a time. They may be getting into a lot of new ventures, but they do it in a way that they know it can be handled. They just don’t go for the next shiny object every five minutes.
High output method of operations and framework. So do you have daily routines and habits? Do you know your goals? Is there someone in your team that is holding you accountable to it? All of those things that create success for our clients.
They value in that respect the time, and that’s the decision that you need to make. It’s a what? A decision that you say I value and I respect my time and it all starts from there. There are results focused and production focused. I remember one of my first mentors, I was trying to explain something to her and her answer was. “Mate, I don’t care about the stories, just give me the numbers.” Yeah. So this is how it is. So they care about production.
Executive more, talk less. Protect your time. You’ve got to have boundaries around you. You’ve got to have people that are going to filter all the things that would disrupt you or distract from your thing. And if you’re helping someone to build their own dream, you’re not working on yours. So you have your own agenda and you stick to it. Because every single time you go and follow something else, you’re not doing what you’re supposed to do for you. Do we get distracted and follow other things that are not in our benefit in life? Yes or no? Yes.
Make it happen. It can be uncomfortable, it might not be perfect. But if it’s got to be done, what do we do? And when? Now. Thank you.
